A woman was killed Tuesday after a vehicle struck an object in Pearblossom.
The crash was reported at 12:11 a.m. and California Highway Patrol officers responded to state Route 138 near Palmdale Road where they found the victim, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
The victim — whose name and age were not immediately known — was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
