A man in his 80s drowned in a pool Thursday at a residence in the Hollywood Hills.
Authorities responded shortly after 1:15 p.m. to the 6900 block of West Woodrow Wilson Drive on a report of an unresponsive man in a swimming pool, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police said detectives were investigating the circumstances of the drowning.
The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
