A 34-year-old felon was charged Friday with kidnapping to rape a woman at gunpoint in Anaheim.
Fredy Franco was charged with kidnapping to commit rape with a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a gun, according to court records. He was accused of attacking the woman Tuesday. Franco’s city of residence was not provided.
Franco pleaded guilty in December 2010 to robbery and two counts of burglary, all felonies, as well as misdemeanor attempted burglary and resisting arrest, according to court records.
Franco did not enter a plea at his arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana on Friday. His arraignment was rescheduled for Oct. 30 in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
