A 62-year-old man who drowned in a pool at a residence in the Hollywood Hills was identified Friday.
Authorities responded shortly after 1:15 p.m. Thursday to the 6900 block of West Woodrow Wilson Drive on a report of an unresponsive man in a swimming pool, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
He was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County Department as James Sackheim.
Police said detectives were investigating the circumstances of the drowning.
