A woman is in the hospital Friday after she was shot at a mobile home park in Buena Park.
Buena Park Police Department officers responded at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday to 6741 Lincoln Ave. to a mobile home park regarding a shots fired call, ABC 7 reported.
According to reports from the scene, when police arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The woman was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
ABC 7 reported man- possibly her husband- had returned home from a shooting range and was cleaning one of his guns, and at some point accidentally fired the weapon and a bullet went through a wall in the trailer and struck the victim.
The man was not arrested, according to ABC 7.
