A man was hit by a Metrolink train and killed Wednesday in the Northridge area.
Paramedics were sent to the 17700 block of West Chase Street about 7 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, who died at the scene.
The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
