Authorities Thursday sought the public’s help to find a 13-year-old boy who went missing from the Whittier area

Wyatt Hernandez was last seen about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday near the 1100 block of Bexley Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The teen is Hispanic, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. He has a scar on his right eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a blue and yellow Rams hoodie and light blue pants.

“Wyatt has a possible destination of the 12000 block of Rose Avenue in the city of Downey,” a sheriff’s department statement said. “His family is concerned for his well-being and are asking for the public’s help.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to contact the sheriff’s Pico Rivera Station at 562-949-2421, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website lacrimestoppers.org.
