A man who was hit and killed by a Metrolink train in the Northridge area was identified by county authorities Thursday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office identified Everardo Romero, 41, as the victim of the fatal collision.
Paramedics were sent to the 17700 block of West Chase Street about 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Romero died at the scene and the circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.
