Orange County sheriff’s deputies Thursday were looking for at least one suspect in a bank robbery with gunfire at a Chase Bank branch in Foothill Ranch.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 12:03 p.m. Thursday to the Chase Bank branch at 26791 Portola Parkway, said sheriff’s Sgt. Frank Gonzalez.
A round of gunfire was fired prior to sheriff’s deputies arriving on scene, but no one was injured, Gonzalez said. It was unclear who opened fire, the sergeant said.
Deputies established a containment area and were looking for at least one suspect, Gonzalez said.
