A 33-year-old man was charged Friday with killing his live-in girlfriend in Santa Ana.
Daniel Raymond Lynch of Santa Ana was charged with murder in the killing of 29-year-old Amy Magpoc, according to Santa Ana police.
Police were dispatched at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday to a condo complex in the 1000 block of West MacArthur Boulevard to investigate a suspicious death, Santa Ana police Officer Natalie Garcia said. An acquaintance of the couple became concerned when repeated calls to both went unanswered.
The victim was found dead in a bedroom, Garcia said.
Investigators were not releasing the suspected cause of death.
