A two-vehicle collision in Coachella left one party with moderate injuries.
The crash was reported shortly after 5:20 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Avenue 53 and Calhoun Street, according to a Riverside County Fire Department statement.
Following firefighters’ arrival, the injured person was transported to a hospital in the area.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
