Authorities were investigating a report that a person was shot and wounded in a vehicle in the Diamond Bar area of Los Angeles County Monday.
Officers were sent to Pathfinder Road, near the Orange (57) Freeway, about 6 a.m. on a report of a shooting, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol.
According to KCAL9, a person who had suffered a gunshot wound was found inside a vehicle that crashed. The person’s condition was not immediately known.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted.
