Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters extinguished a series of vegetation fires near Universal Studios in Studio City, authorities said Saturday.
Fire crews were called at 11:42 p.m. Friday to 50 Universal Studios Blvd. where they were able to control and put out the fires, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Firefighters are now conducting mop up operations to ensure all hot spots were extinguished, Stewart said.
No buildings were damaged and no injuries were reported.
