A man was assaulted in Long Beach but no information was available on his condition, authorities said Saturday.
The assault occurred in the 200 block of Pine Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the location at 2:10 a.m. Friday, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The suspects fled prior to the arrival of officers. The victim was transported to a hospital. His condition was unknown and the motive for the assault was under investigation.
