Officers recovered a handgun during a traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The traffic stop occurred about 7 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of East 16th Street, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The officers recovered the handgun during their investigation.
“The suspect, who was determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested,” according to a police statement. “The investigation is ongoing.”
