Authorities sought public help Saturday to find a 12-year-old boy who walked away from his Manhattan Beach home carrying a sleeping bag.
The boy, only identified as Ryan, went missing early Saturday morning, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department. It was not clear exactly what time he left.
Ryan’s last known location was determined to be near Second Street and Aviation Boulevard, west of Sepulveda Boulevard, police said.
He was described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, about 105 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Nike zip-up hoodie and black Nike sweatpants. The sleeping bag is purple.
