The investigation of a shooting in Temple City that left one person dead and another wounded is continuing Wednesday as police search for suspects.
Authorities responded to the 5100 block of Halifax Road shortly after 12:55 p.m. Tuesday regarding a severely injured victim after shots were fired, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The victim was taken to a hospital, where the person later died.
There was no description of a suspect, and investigators have not determined a motive for the fatal attack.
NBC 4 reported a second victim was also wounded in the shooting. Their condition was not immediately known.
