A 33-year-old man who was shot to death in Tempe City was identified Friday.
Authorities responded to the 5100 block of Halifax Road shortly after 12:55 p.m. Tuesday regarding a severely injured victim after shots were fired, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Ronald Mahogany was taken to a hospital, where he later died. according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
There was no description of a suspect, and investigators have not determined a motive for the fatal attack.
NBC4 reported a second victim was also wounded in the shooting, but there was no word on that person’s condition.
