Authorities Friday identified a man who was killed when the vehicle he was driving crashed and caught fire in Redondo Beach.
The single-vehicle crash was reported at 11:17 p.m. Wednesday at Palos Verdes Boulevard and South Catalina Avenue, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
Keven Franco, 18, of Inglewood died at the scene, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner reported.
A woman riding in the vehicle was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
