A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after driving his car into a traffic signal pole in Irvine early Friday.
The crash occurred at 1:03 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Modjeska and Still Night, according to the Irvine Police Department.
The white car ran into the pole, splitting the car almost halfway through.
