A man was fatally shot in Rosemead before sunrise Friday.
Deputies from Temple Sheriff’s Station were called at 2:48 a.m. Friday to the 7700 block of Garvey Avenue, near Del Mar Avenue, regarding a report of a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they found the victim lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
