A man barricaded himself inside a home in Malibu after allegedly firing gunshots at Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies Friday.
Deputies responded to a report of gunshots around 2 p.m. Friday in the 22000 block of Carbon Mesa Road, north of Pacific Coast Highway, when the armed suspect opened fire, KTLA5 reported.
It was unclear if the man resides at the home he was in.
A SWAT team from the sheriff’s department was assisting the deputies, according to reports.
