A motorcyclist was killed Saturday when he crashed into a pole on a freeway transition road in Santa Ana, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday on the road connecting the Garden Grove (22) Freeway to the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officers arriving at the scene reported that the victim was down in some lanes of the transition road. The biker was pronounced dead at the scene, and no further information was immediately available.
