A high-speed police chase ended with one person dead, one person arrested and four people in the hospital after a fiery, violent rollover crash in Fountain Valley, authorities said Tuesday.
The collision occurred around 10 p.m. Monday near Ellis Avenue and Magnolia Street, ABC 7 reported.
The suspect, who was driving a white pickup, was allegedly driving away from police when they slammed into the side of a BMW SUV at the intersection according to CBS 2.
Video of the crash scene showed a pickup on its side in the middle of the road and a white SUV stopped on the sidewalk, several feet behind the truck, according to reports from the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Fox 11 reported.
ABC 7 reported the suspect was seen sitting on a curb near the crash in handcuffs.
It was not immediately clear if the victims of the crash were traveling in the truck or the SUV.
