A person either fell or jumped to their death Thursday from the Sixth Street Bridge into the L.A. River in Boyle Heights.
Authorities responded to the 1400 block of East Sixth Street around 3 p.m. Thursday to reports of a deceased person in the mostly dry riverbed, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Los Angeles Police Department detectives were continuing the investigation Thursday evening.
