A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition Friday evening after being struck by two vehicles in Studio City.
The collision occurred around 6:55 p.m. in the 13100 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Coldwater Canyon Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver of one vehicle remained at the scene, as is required by law, while the other fled without stopping, police said.
It was unclear what led up to the traffic collision, and detectives were continuing the investigation Friday evening.
