Authorities sought public help Sunday in locating a 68-year-old wheelchair-bound man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease who was last seen in Santa Ana.
Francisco Javier Garcia was last seen at 9 a.m. Saturday in the area of Grand Avenue and First Street, close to the Santa Ana DMV, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
Garcia had left his residence to attend a work event, police said.
He was described as white, 5-feet-7 inches tall, about 230 pounds with white hair. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with the image of a wolf on it, gray pants and a white hat. Garcia used a purple electric wheelchair to get around.
Anyone with information about Garcia’s whereabouts was urged to call the police department at 714-245-8700.
