A Silver Alert has been issued for a 71-yar-old man Tuesday who was last seen in Paramount.
Ignacio Hernandez was reported missing after he was last seen on Paramount Boulevard and 70th Street on Monday at approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Hernandez is Latino, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, had gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, black jeans and black Sketchers tennis shoes.
Authorities say he is believed to be on foot.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
