Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department quickly knocked down a fire in the Vermont-Knolls neighborhood Thursday.
Fire crews were called to 6901 S. Vermont Ave. near Florence Avenue at 3:30 a.m., said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
It took 28 firefighters 21 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
There were no injuries reported and the LAFD’s Arson Section was contacted to visit the area due to previous burns at the location, Stewart said.
