A search was underway Saturday for a 35-year-old man suffering from a mental disorder who went missing from El Monte.
Derek Ceasar Elizondo was last seen at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the 10000 block of Railroad Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Elizondo requires daily medication for his mental disorder, so his family is concerned for his well-being, sheriff’s officials said.
Elizondo is Hispanic, 5-feet-8 inches tall and 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a black jacket, brown shirt and black pants and shoes.
