Officers recovered a handgun during a traffic stop Sunday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
The traffic stop occurred at about 3:25 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 10th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“The suspect, who was determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested,” according to a police statement.
The investigation was ongoing.
