A motorist was killed when their vehicle collided with another vehicle while making a left turn in an intersection in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The crash happened at 4:10 p.m. Sunday at Stocker Street and Don Lorenzo Drive, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The motorist was southbound on Don Lorenzo Drive and made a left turn on Stocker Street striking a westbound vehicle, he said.
Paramedics took the motorist to a hospital where they were pronounced dead, the spokesman said. The driver’s gender and age were not available.
The westbound motorist was hospitalized with stable vital signs, he said.
