A 71-year-old man who was last seen in Paramount, prompting a Silver Alert, has been located, authorities announced Tuesday.
Ignacio Hernandez was reported missing after he was last seen on Paramount Boulevard and 70th Street on Dec. 9 at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Hernandez has since been located, but no additional details were provided about when or where he was found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
