A brush fire burned a 20-foot-by 50-foot patch of vegetation west of the Greek Theatre, but no injuries or structural damage was reported, authorities said Sunday.
It was reported at 9:55 p.m. Saturday at 2700 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Cody Weireter said.
The fire was held in check by hose lines set by L.A. City Park Rangers who deployed prior to the arrival of firefighters, Weireter reported.
Two LAFD engine companies remained at the scene to extinguish any hot spots, he said.
No further details were available.
