A person was found wounded Sunday in a residential area of Redondo Beach.
The shooting was reported about 5:10 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Vanderbilt Lane south of Artesia Boulevard, according to Redondo Beach police Lt. Mark Valdivia.
“Preliminary findings suggest that this was an isolated event, and there is no known ongoing threat to the public,” Valdivia said.
The shooting victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital with wounds not believed to be life-threatening, he said.
