A search was underway Monday for a 41-year-old woman who has medical conditions and needs medication and went missing from Pico Rivera.
Maria Benitez was last seen at 12:30 p.m. Saturday on the 5500 block of Lindsey Avenue, north of Reichling Lane, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Benitez is Hispanic, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar on her right ankle. She was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
Benitez is known to drive a gray 2008 Nissan Altima with a California license plate number 6EPB787.
