At least one person was killed Saturday when an SUV and a pickup collided in the Woodcrest area near Riverside.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 4:35 p.m. Saturday on Harley John Road at Stallion Crest Road.
The pickup overturned, losing its back wheels, a witness told the CHP. The pickup also blocked Harley John Road.
Harley John Road was shut down from Cajalco to Stallion Crest roads and Caltrans reported that Scottsdale Road east and west of Harley John Road was also closed.
