A 74-year-old man reported missing from Inglewood almost two weeks ago, prompting a Silver Alert, has been located, authorities said Monday.
David Canidate had last been seen at 1 p.m. on Dec. 16 near Pincay and Stadium drives, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Inglewood Police Department.
Monday, the CHP reported he had been found, but provided no additional details.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
