Bell police officers shot and wounded a suspect, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday in the 6700 block of Chanslor Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which is investigating the shooting.
The man was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, sheriff’s officials said. His condition was not released.
Additional information was not released due to the ongoing investigation, officials said.
