Two vehicles sustained gunshots during two unrelated shootings Wednesday morning in Long Beach, where no injuries were reported, authorities said.

Officers dispatched at 12:31 a.m. to the 1400 block of Linden Avenue, regarding a “shots” call, located a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

No injuries were reported and police had no suspect information. The motive for the shooting was unknown.

At 12:35 a.m., officers were sent to the 1000 block of Cherry Avenue, regarding a “shots” call, and also located a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported and the motive for that shooting was unknown.
