A 67-year-old woman suffering from dementia and high blood pressure went missing Wednesday from Lancaster and sheriff’s detectives asked the public for help finding her.

Marilyne Adams was last seen at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of East Lancaster Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Adams is Black, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 180 pounds, with long red/burgundy corn row braids, brown eyes and glasses, wearing a black hat, gray sweater, black slacks and burgundy house shoes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
