A 14-year-old girl was reported missing after being last in Inglewood Friday, prompting the issuance of an Ebony Alert.
Nariah Payne was last seen Friday near the intersection of West Century Boulevard and South Freeman Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Inglewood Police Department.
Nariah was described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall girl weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink headwrap, gray sweatshirt and black leggings.
Anyone with information regarding Nariah’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
Ebony Alerts are issued to help find Black children, teenagers and young adults — 12 to 25 years old — who are reported missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances or those who are at-risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or who have been abducted.
