A man was wounded Saturday in a shooting at a market in the Broadway-Manchester area of South Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 8:13 p.m. Saturday on South Main Street near East 90th Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.
The victim, described as a man in his 40s, was taken by paramedics to a hospital, where his condition was not immediately available, Cervantes said.
A description of the male suspect was also not available, she said. The shooting was believed gang-related.
An investigation was ongoing.
