Firefighters Monday knocked down a contents fire in one unit on the second floor of a two-story apartment building in Wilmington, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 6:44 a.m. to 720 N. Wilmington Blvd. had the fire out 6:57 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
“Firefighters prevented it (the fire) from extending to the adjacent unit or into the attic,” said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “No injuries reported.”
A cause of the fire was under investigation.
