A man was arrested for gun possession and an investigation is underway Thursday.
Long Beach Police Department officers responded to the area of 16th Street and Cota Avenue at 6:24 a.m. Tuesday regarding an illegal dumping call involving a motor home. During their investigation, officers found the suspect in possession of a loaded firearm, police said.
The man was arrested and taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
