A Metro Blue (A) Line train collided with a sedan in Long Beach Tuesday, but no injuries were reported.
Officers responded to a site near the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and 20th Street around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a traffic collision, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Detectives determined after a preliminary investigation that a Metro train and a Toyota Corolla were traveling northbound on Long Beach Boulevard moments before the sedan attempted a left turn westbound onto 20th Street and collided with the train.
Police said impaired driving did not appear to be a determining factor in the collision.
