A man was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle collision in La Verne.
The crash occurred at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in the 6700 block of Wheeler Avenue, at Sherwood Drive, according to Sgt. D. Harden of the La Verne Police Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Harden said. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.
Wheeler Avenue was shut down between Sherwood and Kent drives for the collision investigation, Harden said.
It was reported reopened about 7:20 p.m.
