One person has died in a crash involving at least two vehicles in the Florence-Firestone area of South Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.
The crash was reported at 10:48 p.m. Saturday at 94th and Alameda streets, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was reported by someone crying that they needed help, the CHP said, and reportedly involved a yellow Bronco SUV and a black sedan.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and one person was arrested, the CHP said.
A description of the victim and the charges facing the arrested person were not available.
