Los Angeles County firefighters rescued a member of a Duarte family Sunday evening.
A blind, deaf dog named Fluffy fell into a storm drain, fire officials said.
Members of an Urban search-and-rescue team climbed down into the drain and pulled out the dog.
It was unclear how the dog got into the storm drain.
