A motorcyclist died after being ejected from the bike in a crash in Canyon Lake, authorities said.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Lake Elsinore station responded to Railroad Canyon Road and Country Club at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, the department said Friday.
Paramedics performed lifesaving measures at the scene and the victim was then taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition. The victim died Thursday, according to the sheriff’s department.
The motorcyclist’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities said alcohol or drugs were suspected to be a factor in the collision.
